The Town
The Town was a movie theater that stood on the first floor of the Leray Hotel (Electric Building) on Public Square in Watertown. The theater was first opened in August 1906 as The Wonderland Theater. It was remodeled in 1917 and renamed Palace Theatre. It again was remodeled in 1949 and renamed Town Theatre.
The theater closed in the 1960's, and the Electric Building was demolished in the early 1980's.
