The Strand
The Strand is a movie theater that stands on Franklin Street in Watertown. Built in 1914, it is the last of Watertown's old movie theaters to remain standing.
For many years, the theater operated as the Strand Music Theater, and was a popular Watertown nightclub. The Strand name was retired after the nightclub's closure in 2008. The building was converted to a teen club in 2009 and renamed "Safari". Now is ?
