Talcott Falls is located along the east side of US Route 11 between Watertown and Adams Center, just north of the Kellogg Hill intersection rock cuts. It is well-marked. The Talcott Falls site, which includes the Old Stagecoach Inn and a 15th century St. Lawrence Iroquoian village, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Long a popular spot for photography and a very popular background for wedding photos, the falls are located on private property, and at various times there have been signs posted prohibiting entry from the highway.

Another spectacular local waterfall is located behind the Burrville Cider Mill in Burrville.
