Pete's Restaurant

Pete's Restaurant is a popular Italian American eatery in Watertown.

The restaurant first opened as a bar on Factory Street in 1932 by Peter Costanzo, becoming the first establishment in Watertown to sell alcohol after prohibition ended. The bar later became a popular eatery as well. Pete continued to be involved in the restaurant until 1970, when his son, Tom, took over ownership.

Pete's added its famous pizza to and began delivery service in Watertown in the 1980's. In 1985, Pete's moved to the former Canale's Restaurant on Breen Avenue.
