The five story Globe Hotel was built on Arsenal Street in Watertown in 1850. After extensive renovations in 1891, it was renamed the Otis House. The building was destroyed by fire in 1903. A new four story building was built in its place in 1904, and named the Otis Block. The Otis block was tore down in the 1960's during Urban Renewal.
