American Hotel
The American Hotel stood on Arsenal Street in Watertown. Built in the 1850's, the hotel was noted for its second story dining balcony. The structure ceased being a hotel in it's later years, with the first floor being host to several bars and nightclubs. The building had been largely abandoned by the early 2000's. With no one willing to take on the dilapidated structure, it was finally torn down in 2003 to make way for a new city bus depot.
