About the Wiki

The Jefferson County NY Wiki is intended to be a long-term project that will document - in delicious detail - the history and current state of Jefferson County, New York and all of its environs including Watertown and Fort Drum.

You can find popular subjects and heading pages in the sidebar to the left, or search for subjects in the top-right search field. For a while we had been online and offline intermittently since the original host for the wiki; Wikispaces shut down, and we tried various pieces of software and hosts to no avail in an effort to get this wiki back up again.

But now we have found a new home here at Miraheze.org, a non-profit wiki farm where we are now generously hosted. (You can donate to help Miraheze.org here).

We recommend that you join the site for the best viewing, and also that you use the Pivot skin for best display on both desktops and mobile devices ( go to your acount and then PREFERENCES | APPEARANCE | PIVOT).

But we need editors and people working on the site.
